Marcus, you and the lady look great, just great. Stylish, attractive, wow, just out of the movies. And the car just complements it. I bet a nice Sunday afternoon drive, stopped at a light, you get asked a ton of questions. Wow, looks like fun.

Helped by this thread of pictures of the Stylemaster on Noggins, I ordered one in acorn just like Blackthorn's. It hit the front porch just as I was leaving on a trip so all I have are some cell snaps at the hotel. I think the last shot has the truest color.

Now I am getting intrigued by the Stylemaster. I can definately see the appeal. Anyone have the Moonstone version? Is that a versatile colour?

Duper, I think on the previous page, the pic with Marcus and his wife...I think that's a Moonstone. I may end up buying one. It's a great color.

OG and AF...your reason for not liking the Stylemaster is the same as mine for not pulling the trigger on a Campdraft. Ribbon.
Thin ribbon on the CD. But...I am STILL thinking of a Campdraft in Silverbelly...someday, once I get over my inhibition.

ValEag, I would really like to know what you think about the Stylemaster Vs. the Sydney. For that matter, anyone that has both...please post. To me, the Stylemaster is a Sydney/Fedora with a bound edge.

BTW, all you gents look great in that Stylemaster. Stylin' :eusa_clap

If only they made it in Moonstone. I like the marketing strategy of Hornets hats. They offer every one of their hats in any of 16 different colors. Now that's smart marketing. If only Akubra would figure that out, they'd have to add new rooms onto their factory to keep up with demand.

Hey Goose.!

Goose. - haven't pulled the trigger on a Stylemaster yet, but the Acorn will most likely be my next purchase. I'm still waiting on that Knox Admiralty I sent out to be cleaned, blocked and a new ribbon installed, and with a new furniture/tv purchase, by hat fund is low right now.

Your comparison of the Stylemaster as a Sydney with a bound edge is pretty accurate I would say, but also dressier. The Acorn color would round out my dress hats too.

I just like the way this one looks - kind of looks like that classic fedora to me. The pics that Atticus posted on post # 2 of this thread look great, just a natural, relaxed looking lid. And the profile of Spats in # 6 is just how I like a hat to look.

I just heard back from EA that the Stylemaster can be had with an open crown as a "special order" requiring a three month wait.
