Guys and Gals,
I need a bid of wisdom here. I picked up a few items and I need to know what they are? Below I have listed a few pics. In the first are colonel "pin Back" Insignia, I have never seen this type before, I need help to decipher its orgin or era. I have also picked up this watch, It reads:

Today when I recieved it I replaced the band. I had an original WWII OD green band, which they normally came with. What do ya think? It keeps perfect time!

Yes, that is a very nice watch. It really adds to a reenactors "feeling of experience" to have a period correct watch on.

The stem looks different than most I’ve seen. I know that with flight wings and related wings there were so many different manufacturers and so many varmints. The same thing goes for other pins too. I don’t see a hallmark in the pic. so you may be out of luck identifying it.

How well does the watch keep time? Try and keep it wound. I’ve got an Elgin from 1874-ish and it still runs but you got to keep it wound and clean.
