My aunt gave me a nice present: Mascara form La Bella Nussy.
It was developed by a singer from Vienna in the 1930's. She was tired of the black smudges under her eyes on stage, so she exeprimented in her kitchen and after 2000 different recipes she finally was able to create the first waterproof mascara.

It is still made from the same old recipe. The mascara comes in a small tube. You can use it as a refill or put a little bit on the piece of cardboard and apply it with the plastic spiral.
And...it works! My lashes looked really long and full and the mascara didn't smudge. Great product, if only for the story and the lovely design.

This sounds great! One thing though, normally the only reason why I don't use waterproof mascara is because it's TOO waterproof - I don't like scrubbing the heck outta my eyes just to get my makeup off. How does this stuff rate? Can you take it off with cold cream/cleansing cream?

Yes, no problem. The only difficult thing is you have to clean the spiral every time you use it, so some mascara goes down the drain. And in stead of cardboard I would use a piece of plastic, so you can wash your 'palet'. But otherweise...great product!
