Hats for sale and Q for Boston Area Members

Hello All,

I have a number of hats for sale, some vintage some recently made but well worn, etc. Due to health issues and a busy schedule with several doctors it has been challenging for me to deal with shipping, shippping materials, etc.

My question to anyone in the area interested in size 6 7/8, 7 (and one that fits like 7 1/8) is whether you would like to purchase one or all locally? If not, I may have a friend bring them down to Bobby's.

As part of the effort to clean out my closet and dispose of the remaining items from my storage locker, my hat collection will be narrowed down to some vintage Borsalinos, Art's creations, and a few unusual items I have picked up over time.

Sounds like you have quite a collection. If I were closer, I would be very interested in seeing firsthand your 6 7/8 sized hats.

Would it be possible to display/email pictures of the 6 7/8 sized hats--maybe some other arrangement can be made such as arrange for local pickup?

I am trying to get myself organized and put up photos. The collection is not that impressive, or large, and I'm not parting with my favourites - the vintage Borsalinos, Art Fawcett creations and few Optimos. I've just been buying hats for a long time and finally decided to focus on the ones that I wear or that seem to my untrained eye the best quality and most attractive.

The real chore, and where I know I have not got the better of the bargain, has been selling off large lots of my books. I did not properly catalog them so dealers have managed to take a few I would prefer to have kept, and that were worth what they paid me for more than 2,600 in the first go round, and some of my favourite illustrated books were lumped in with another 780 sold recently.
