Are you only interested in felt? If not, try to find a Scala Panama fedora. Scala these days is owned by Dorfman so their quality has slipped a bit, but if you can get an old one, you have a choice between a nice warm tan or natural, which is roughly khaki.

Tough color!

I have a Baldwin (see WEEGEE's post), and it's nice. The Camel isn't really tan, and the Limestone is more of a dark tanish brown, I think. Miller does have a few hats in "Fawn" which I think is tan, so you could scavenge there. What size are you, Stylin'. If I spot something I can let you know.

Thanks guys...And I especially thank you Not-Bogart13. I'm a 7 1/8 Medium.
Yeah camel color to me is a darker tan. I'm seeking a khaki light light tan color. Boy sure is tuff to find! I thought it would be easier than this.

Sure! If you happen to find one please let me know Not-Bogart13 (or anyone for that matter) Heck, consider it a challenge to all you Fedora Afficianados!

For the record:
Khahki colored size 7 1/8 fedora in Fur Felt (not wool and not beaver) -either in a black ribbon band or brown ribbon band. I don't want a stingy/homburg. Prefer a C-shaped crown but I can live with a center crease on the crown.

Go for it!

Khaki Fedora

Also try: Hats Plus. Just Google it. They offer a choice of small, medium or wide brim dress (fedora) hats with many tan/khaki selections. Even a 'Bogart' style!

Open Road Guild

:eusa_clap If you spend some time on Ebay you may find a Stetson Open Road, Mallory Dallas, Resistol San Antonio hat. The tan color is one of the colors you see most often. It usually is seen with the Cattlemans bash a crown configured like you see in Texas, BUT they are fairly easy to re-bash to a fedora style. The ribbon is a thinner style but will color match the felt. It's pretty classy, manly and outdoorsy at the same time.

We have a thread on "The Open Road Guild" where they guys some their Open Roads or the Lookalikes off. SOme fine looking tan hats there.
