I had no idea Lane Bryant had been around so long until I bought a vintage dress with their label (best estimate is 1960s, based on this label guide someone posted earlier):
Sorry I haven't taken any photos of me wearing it yet! These are the photos from the listing when I bought it. lol My only thing is the fabric isn't very nice. I saw the pictures and thought it would be sort of satiny (maybe it was at some point in time!) but it ended up being sort of scratchy. Ah well, such are the perils of online shopping!

Can anyone help with vintage Lane Bryant sizing charts?
I see items described as a "size E" or some other letter. I'm particularly interested to know what years LB relied on letter sizing. If anybody has a chart or a link to one, I'd love to see it. When I Googled, all I got were pantyhose sizes.

I actually think the models are larger. Maybe reader feedback?
Their faces are wider/rounder, and they seem to be very rectangle shaped.
No real waist to speak of. I know that look was a big in the 20s and early 30s, I guess the transition to a more shapely look has not happened yet.
