GW Californian racer. Come to find this one’s from way back in 2009 and was one, if not the first, of John’s racer jacket prototypes. It looks a little like pigment Shinki but it’s a chrome tanned cowhide. Note no sleeve zips. I kind of prefer that!
I just got a new FQHH Highwayman in black from Carrie. 6’2” (extra length) and about 175 now. I’ve realized I’ve just gained weight and now it’s a little slim for my liking. Off to the classifieds it will go I’m afraid.
Usually 2 sizes down solves most of the 50s Aero patterns for a good fit...

that’s just lovely grain. Some jackets are made with slightly grainier and seemingly thinner areas…have no fears regarding durability. Eastman’s A-1 is capeskin and much thinner and less stiff-and it’ll still hold up under normal wear and just about anything you put it...
