Sun so bright my blue beret turns purple!

Today in the garden we have a meerschaum-lined calabash ( I know, I usually wear a fore and aft cap with it) paired with a camel beret.

That’s a nice one!

My plans for later today include this black beret and pipe. Interesting claim, the world’s oldest pipe makers.

Barn boina

Unlined brown boina with a small Butz-Choquin Canadian.

Maroon summer weight wool beret and “the pipe”. The pipes, the brand name, we’re made between 1963 and 1975. I found this one in Panama City FL, in the early 80’s. I used to have a red bent “the pipe” as well, but over time it seems to have escaped.

Awesome. Seems like I’ve been meaning to get a church warden forever, but haven’t yet.
