I am clearing out some space in my closet and finally getting around to selling off a lot of stuff that no longer fits me. Add $10 to all prices for shipping. Located in Toronto if you want to do a local pickup. Sorry for all the wrinkles in the photos. They were folded in a box when I moved...
Yea just look at 99% of the Denim & Supply line. Such a huge pile of crap. The odd nice piece makes it through but its mostly just distressed american flag patches on a bunch of ugly stuff.
I picked up this RRL jacket on ebay and it arrived in the mail today.
RRL watch cap
RRL denim shawl jacket
Gap quilted vest
Wallace & Barnes denim work shirt
J. Crew urban slim fit chinos
Vintage steel toe work boots
Youre lucky if you can find a piece from a current H&M collection, let alone anything older. They generally just bang out new designs and patterns multiple times a season and once its gone it doesnt really come back. Its a bit of a bummer because there have been a few cool things over the years...
I really like the angled pocket on the jacket. Im not a huge fan of that camo pattern though. They did some stuff in a leaf camo last season that I really liked. Unfortunately the fit of the pants they did in that camo were extra slim fit so I had to pass on them but they looked really cool...
I saw those ones and wasnt a fan of the "New York City!!" type stuff in the camo. I didnt realize it was simulated trench art though. I thought it was just bad custom camo patterns they had made haha.
There was one really cool army type jacket in a large camo pattern. I cant totally remember...
They might make sense with older style high waisted pants but when they are mid rise and all the pressure is on the top button when you move around and especially when you bend over it doesnt make a lot of sense. Otherwise they are great pants though.
The thing I need to figure out is how I am going to remove the snap button they have placed on them already. I may have to pry it out and then finish the hole manually to create a button hole of some sort.
The calico one? For the price you just cannot beat it. Im sure the Mister Freedom one is great and definitely worth the money, but at 10% of the cost you can have something that looks awfully similar. You should check out those hickory striped buckle back work pants too. As long as you dont mind...
Here is a photo that shows those H&M work pants. They are really even cooler looking in person. H&M must have hired a designer recently who is really into workwear because they have been producing a few really nice work pieces lately.
I picked up a really cool pair of buckle back faded hickory stripe tapered work pants with metal suspender buttons from H&M today. Really nice details on them and the fit is very nice. Only downside is for some reason some idiot decided to put a snap style button on the top enclosure so you...
Jacket retails for $285. It is a slim fitting work jacket made by a Japanese company that I bought locally a few years ago. It is a very tough and durable jacket. The fit is amazing. It is tagged as a large but it fits more like a slim medium or a small.
Measurements
22" pit to pit
19"...
Retails for $108. Shirt has been worn only a few times.
This is a really cool lightly distressed hickory stripe workshirt with vented under arms and a tab collar by Polo Ralph Lauren. I really like this shirt but unfortunately it no longer fits me as I have recently started going to the gym...
Retails for $598. Asking $250
This is a really great blue wool half belted jacket with side adjuster tabs and black leather trim on the front pockets.
Design is based on a vintage 40s style work jacket. It is tagged as a medium but fits more like a small.
Measures 21.5" pit to pit, 17"...
I just picked up this great calico print workshirt from H&M. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a tab collar. It reminded me a lot of the Mister Freedom shirt for a fraction of the cost. It comes in regular fit too which means it will fit normal people.
Reviving this random old thread but I would go with Ewan McGregor personally. I have always thought he was awesome. Except for his role in Star Wars. Daniel Craig is great as well but I think Ewan McGregor is cooler offscreen. He also rides motorcycles.
