    "Manos,..The Hands of Fate" on Mystery Science Theater 3000. One of the most awful films ever produced. :eek: But hilarious. The last serious film I watched though was quite good. "Flame and Citron" about the real life fight of the Danish resistance against Nazi occupation.

    Portis hats were top quality. Many had non-typical ribbon treatments and other nice details. Very under-rated it seems, but competition between the big hat makers was pretty fierce so I think the bigger companies dominated the markets by advertising more.

    Amazing! The toll was very extremely high especially during the first two years or so. They had no long range fighter escorts early on, and were flying over Germany in broad daylight! This is a must see series for sure. :)

    Thanks for the tips guys, I'll be checking out a hot local pawn shop here in town that sells a lot of new and used guns. :) Cabela's has their "Gun Library" here too, but the selection is limited and prices outrageous more often than not.

    I own several old unsigned oil paintings executed in the 18th and 19th centuries. All quite professionally done, although in need of some restoration which is one reason why I purchased them. I would love to converse with the artists that painted them.
