Hi all
I think I can see the drop off as if I am slashing down the initial tame slope of a gnarly black double diamond run.
As I slow down a little bit to survey the terrain and pick my line, my adrenaline is pumping, my serotonin is flooding and I find myself at the juncture where I can...
Hi all
Instead of using the official Schott BLTV belt that goes with the 568 jacket, are there similar steerhide belts from other makers that are available to be used for the jacket?
Thanks

Hi all
I am on a quest for a pair of RW 2268 engineer boots. I figured I would most likely be able to find them from Japan auction sites so nailing down the sizing becomes imperative as return is not a viable option.
If I wear size 8D RW blacksmith or iron ranger, what size is recommended for...
Oh thanks for the tip. A size 38 C2 with 22" back length would be great.
Do the C2 from the 90's or 80's have the same measurements on the chest and the shoulders?
Yeah, I looked at the Thunderbird too and it's 1/2" shorter than the C2.
But I don't like the back panel since there is no horizontal seam at the bottom and no belt loops (since it's a half belt jacket) to balance out the jacket. It looks as if it's cropped off unnaturally visually.
I think you are right. I don't think I can zip up the C2 in size 36. Thanks and I agree that the cycle king is one great looking jacket with their competition weight steerhide and very nice quality hardware, I intend to keep it regardless since it's kind of unique considering that it's a...
Thanks for recommending the Y’2 PR-58. According to the size chart, size 38 might do the trick. It basically has the same measurements as my Allsaints. Please see attached.
Thanks!
Yes I feel the same way about the Schott, that is, despite the fact that it's longer it looks shorter so to speak probably due to the higher arm holes as you stated.
Good point about breaking in effect. If it relaxes just a little bit around the hem it would totally work. Currently it feels as if someone is constantly grabbing my hip slightly but maybe it's something I will get used to once I wear it more frequently.
Thanks for posting your size 36.
The jacket looks perfect on you!
You are right, it seems that the cycle king has a similar pattern as the C2 with the exception of the hem being wider.
I don't think I can zip up in a size 36 C2 based on those measurements.
But the C2 is sized 36, 38 and etc whereas the cycle king is alpha sized and in this case a size S.
I had tried the C2 in size 38 in the past, the sweep/hem seemed similar to the cycle king in terms of width but the chest and arms are too roomy for me.
Maybe I need to try to find a size 36 C2...
Hi all,
I seem to have an anatomical challenge as my torso is rather short so most off the rack jackets fall around my hip. As a result, the bottom hem feels pretty tight.
If I upside to accommodate my hip, then the rest of the jacket would be too long and too loose.
Attached are photos of...
Thanks for the link to the video.
You are correct. The length of the C2 size 38 is 23.75" and the Schott 613 size 38 is 24" so the C2 is shorter.
But for some reason, the C2 felt longer when i tired it on perhaps due to their definitely longer sleeves which gave me an impression of too long...
Hi all,
New member here.
I am on a quest for a moto riding jacket and I have been reading and learning and trying different jackets lately.
I have narrowed down to Schott Perfecto (613 or 618) or Vanson (C2 or Continental Chopper).
I have tried on the following jackets and here are my...
