I picked up this size 7 5/8 pure beaver hat with a 2 1/2” brim and a 5” open crown. How much could the brim and/or crown be increased if it was resized to a 7 3/8? -

Here is an old Tan Bark 3X Resistol in rough condition that I refurbished. I took 1/2” off of the brim and got rid of 95% of the moth damage. The felt had lots of blotches (chemical spill?) so I attempted to dye it into an Acorn color (actual Rit color used is called Marigold). Here is... -
