What feels fragile about your Chevalier?? I never thought fragile would be used to describe a Himel jacket.
I think it looks stellar. The pull only enhances the jacket.
I believe they are the original manufacturer of the ww2 era B3 who Lost Worlds based their jacket off of.
This technique works. Once saturated the residue remains until heated and removed, a.k.a "buffed out"
