I agree! And vice versa, more fedora sized hats shaped in traditionally more western creases! I’ve been looking at a lot of old pictures from the 30s and 40s Texas, cattlemen and lawmen alike. I definitely enjoy a heavier weight felt if it’s good quality and holds up, my worry with the Thomas Farthing hats was that they felt to me more similar to like, Scala type wool felts than anything higher grade.
