Are there any photos of the hat itself.
A.Breiter weren't making hats themselves by then. It would be interesting to see the hat and any labels that might indicate the actual maker.
Interesting find. Not often you see the full name of Adalbert Breiter on an A. Breiter hat.
The logo, colour, and design could suggest 1940s / early 50s.
Are there any labels under the sweatband?
Looking forward to hearing Steve's @mayserwegener comments on this one.
Congratulations on your 28 years anniversary to you and Etsuko, Gary.
May you both be blessed with many more happy years together, and may we, on the FL, be fortunate enough to see many more wonderful photos of your hats, food, and sartorial elegance.
I blame my first Hornskov on Gary @The Shoe , too :)
I've got my second Hornskov in the works, so your Emissary is quite an inspiration, Rob.
Love the felt colour and contrasting ribbon treatment.
Thank you, Robert. Very kind of you, sir.
Lady Tina is truly the most wonderful maker of bespoke clothing. I hope her recovery from her illness is progressing in an upward trajectory.
Love that tie, too, by the way!
