Perhaps you've got a different iteration of the jacket, but as it sounds quite weird that a garment specifically says not to wash something at all, I've queried and found this picture in this site - https://sonofastag.com/products/buzz-ricksons-m-65-combat-field-jacket-olive-drab

I find the price is quite steep. Do we have any pieces made by her or the person/people who will make them in London that we can check out? Also, it would be interesting to know lead times and how much customization will be allowed (is it limited to customizing currently available models? Can...
Hey all!
Making this thread as I didn't see any existing one where this would fit and as there's always talks around here about makers with lead times that end up going far overboard, thus why posting it here.
Revolut has increased their window to dispute a payment to 90 days after receiving...
There should be a serial number somewhere, likely in one of the inside pockets. You can send that via email to Vanson - vanson@vansonleathers.com - and they'll let you know when it was made.
Nice! Do we know of any difference when it comes to them? I doubt they'll be exactly the same as then they should just be under the same banner even if made in the same factory.
How can you contact him? Chat feature in the website or over some email? The website is kinda barebones, like the contact links just redirect to the Search function.
For example, this jacket and this jacket look pretty much identical, one is clearly from Veluokldly but the other has no picture...
Ah yes, there's still taxes and also the duties to pay, but at least it's not 150% (or whatever the number is now or will be tomorrow), which is what I was referring to.
What would be great is if Tailor Brando would simply acknowledge the different brands, as I was looking at what models I'm...
I haven't tried RWs, but my GS' soles just simply don't feel like they are too grippy or even durable. Any kind of tread or ridges was basically gone in a couple weeks. I believe RW uses Vibram soles while GS mounts their own, so there may be a difference there. Still very comfy, though!
I'm not a fan of the question because I'm a big fan of complementary items. For example, I got my Grant Stone mocs with a wedge sole and they are extremely comfy... But I would never want to wear them on a dirt trail because I distrust the wedge to perform well there. You know what? I actually...
I've read good things about Veluokldly too, I'm honestly tempted to just test my luck with one of these two brands from Tailor Brando, just as a fun gamble. I would just wish to be able to easily buy "directly" from Jia Shi or Veluokldly or XYZ instead of using Tailor Brando as an aggregator.
Reviving this thread as it's warm these days and I've been wearing a jacket from a well known commercial brand in blue suede leather.
I got it at a sale (paid like 300€) and it was kind of a superfluous buy because I just did cause I thought it fit me really good (and I still think it does)...
I think both look great as well! At a glance, I wouldn't be able to tell which one is the mall brand and which isn't. Actually what surprises me is that the Jack N Jones is actually wool, even if not 100%.
I might look into Pike Brothers for a peacoat myself, as the one I got I've outgrown in...
Brannock isn't a thing here in EU, but I wear 10G in my RM Williams Craftsman, 10.5D in Red Wing and Grant Stone, 10.5 UK (Which varies by brand but it's usually 11.5 US and 45.5 EU) in most sneakers.
I got a pair of RM Williams and really like them. Fit good and good quality, I particularly like that they are made in a single piece of leather, as I quite loathe seeing the stitch on each side under the elastic band on Chelsea boots. I've both dressed them up and down. Of all you've said, I...
Certainly one of my gripes. I don't have IG, it's not a store and then what's the point in hosting a website? Not uncommon with other makers but still.
