I forgot to mention, it's tagged a 42, and I asked for the sleeves from a 44 Bootlegger. They have 8.75" biceps. If you look at my pic in the first post, those sleeves are 8.25 and too tight.
Well, it came and I'm happy.
The collar folded or something in transit, so it won't lay flat just yet. The rest is loosening quickly; break in is much harder with selvedge jeans.
I wanted a fit that could give me a bit of room for a light sweater, but still get away with a t-shirt. I wasn't...
It looks actually like he had a bad experience, so I doubt he's shilling.
I never wound up buying or anything myself. I decided if I wanted any more Pakistani jackets I'd just go with Five Star again.

Arms and torsos weren't shorter 80 years ago...it was likely the style, with long gloves.

-USA made (100 percent in the case of Cone Mills deadstock pairs)
-chain stitched hems, waist
-leather patch
-cool issues of many denim types
An issue, but why they are much cheaper is a difficult return policy...
I agree. I keep finding reasons to get more. "Well, my denim jacket is a heavyweight, maybe I should get this light one for warmer weather just in case. And also a black one..."
I think I have 12 pairs of BS jeans? Plus three jackets. I'm a huge fan. Ironically I wair an extremely faded pair of 21.5 oz BS heavies almost all the time when I should be developing fades on the other pairs. But this one pair is so soft inside now!
