Hello folks, yep I'm getting married and to top it off it will be on the Queen Mary. :D We were aiming for Oct 14th but soon realized it's in the middle of their Halloween haunt season and so we are now looking at November 4th. I did not want it that close to the FL/COW get together but oh...
Picked it up at Barnes & Noble for $15.00 It's called the "Gentleman's Guide to Grooming and Style" by Bernhard Roetzel. It's 355 hard bound pages that covers topics from undergarments to hair care to types of tobacco and more. Great book but it was made from a British point of view so all the...
Hello Loungers, I have a question about the Western Electic 202 telephone. Were ringer boxes the only way to have them ring or did some have a ringer in the phone?
:cheers1:

Well in the new office I want a mini bar. My question is what would make a good liquer cabnet/glass ware holder. Kim thinks Pier 1 has some nice stuff but I just want to get some input fom our loungers. I know MK bought some type of bar a year or more ago which looked sweet.
Cheers,
Jeff
I'm looking at a Kelloge Redbar 1000 and was wondering if that is a good phone? I like it's look and it's in great shape however I will need to convert the jack/plug.

With the events in other parts of the world and the loss of so much this might sound trivial but I am very saddened tonight. I lost a good friend and companion for 21 years, his name was Skyler and he was my cat. My mom was in training at our local Veterinary hospital back in 1984 and a woman...
A low budget film but it looks very well done. They used WWII re-enactors for the most part. I know not Golden Era but WWII is still a major topic here.

Hello all, I am trying to remember the title of a film I saw a while ago. First it is NOT the 42 film Flying Tigers staring the Duke. The basic plot: The main character, who loves to fly, joins the Air Force after Pearl Harbor. He flies cargo to china to where the Flying Tigers are stationed...

Doorbell rang this afternoon so I open up the door to see my mail man with a Perter Bros hat box. I was so exited I accidentally locked myself out of the house:eek: What was worse I was bare foot:rolleyes: so I ask my neighbor to lend me a hand and get me over the fence to my backyard. Nice...
