Finally able to post on my own thread lol. Something was wrong with the verification system. Anyways, I've posted a bunch of new stuff. I can work with anyone here regarding foreign sales.
Selling a lot of my collection (moving). Started posting stuff on ebay but would rather sell it here for obvious reasons. Let me know if you see anything of interest and throw me an offer or any questions. I will be posting over the few weeks.

the Vegas Robaina vitola has been discontinued so get them while you can. I would recommend the Unico. The Trinidad series is also a good brand and is being discontinued.
I have a pretty large collection of cuban cigars although I havent collected any in a few years since my smoking habit has dropped off sharply.
Anyways, there is a distinct flavor component you find in cubans that you just dont find in any other countries terroir that I have come across. I...
looks like the football shaped area that goes through the under arm. I'd have them replace that piece with a similar shade piece. unfortunately this looks like sheep so i dont know what they would do about the lining there
I would like to see an independent lab or company do the testing. Maybe Horween? This should be for all hides. Many people specifically do not want horsehide due personal reasons but may in fact have gotten a whole or partial jacket made of HH. Any jacket that is tested against the labeling...

it has that washed leather rumpled look so probably isnt vintage more like the above
the heavy fqhh horween leather that aero uses is 4+ oz. I have never seen this thickness hide in any of the vintage models I have had with the exception of an old windward and I have seen a buco j22 type model that appeared very thick although I think this style jacket was often made with...
I think the tanning process and quality of the hide is more important than the animal itself. That said, all things being equal it comes down to visual preference. The grain on horsehide is generally more elongated than steer and forms a rippled look. Steer can look a lot like horse but horse...
Horween’s kudu leather is essentially heavily oiled and hand treated calfskin, done in the same procedure as shell cordovan. Thicker and more dense than the norm, kudu is definitely a rugged and everlasting leather.
-Plainsman Chromexcel – A duller version with a more pronounced grain character...
Many cafe racers from schott and buco have short arms because they were meant to be worn with long riding gloves. The schott caf-1 is a more modern cut with longer sleeves. Look for fit description on those.
the legendary 44 is 25.5" arm which is ave but this is slim fit so I would size up...
I think it is false to say all things were better made in in the past. I have a number of deadstock and used items I've bought from the 40's and on that were of very poor quality. Its no different than today, some items were made for quality and some for price. However, the better made items...
I think the jacket sold for $292 in 2012 with an approximate 1940 value of $320. So it has kept most of its value for 72 years. Not bad. Of course, a deadstock version of that jacket would easily sell for $900.
