high end vs low end products ?
I've been converted on my foundation! I'm loving my Palladio dual wet&dry foundation from Sally's. It's about $10 to $12 depending on if you have a Sally's card, and I'm liking it so much more than my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation for the summer time!- pompsnpincurls

I have the same problem with the shade, but I apply my Maybelline Translucent mineral setting powder over it and it lightens it up a bit. I'm glad you tried this! I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION!! Lol, seriously though it's worked out so well. It's so much faster to put on than my liquid and although it looks a little obvious at first,after about 1/2 hour and after I put on my translucent powder it looks great. high end vs low end products ?
I use mostly drug store makeups except for my foundation b/c I have read an article saying that lower-end foundation use fillers that can damage your skin and because I'm about prevention and taking care of my skin I really don't want to take that chance. Probably an unnecessary question, but are you familiar with Mac lipsticks? I'm looking for a wearable daily red that is not too dark but not too light, do you have a recommendation :) ?
