    Hats Off!

The ABC news came into hats plus to do a little blurb on how the local reporter Frank Mathie needed a new hat. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it. http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=local&id=5790338

Help! Ineed to find a hat!

Rick I don't think Miller would be able to customize that hat to spec right now because of the state that biltmore is in. Rifle I think that you will be hard pressed to find a c-crown in stock somewhere with that small of a brim. The stetson downs is a 2 3/8 inch brim and comes in a...

Hey fellow Big Guys (aka bucketheads)...

I know I could go a custom route I talked to art about it once. However 300 for a hat is not in the budget for me at the moment. I think I am going to take a borsalino and try to have it resized the right way. You guys will see me in a dress hat soon I hope. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

Hey fellow Big Guys (aka bucketheads)...

Yeah they the last time I checked the only thing that they had that high was a milan telescope in red or purple or something. As I am usre you know getting them to make something right now is close to impossible so we will see. I have been thinking about getting an 8 resized or something...

Hey fellow Big Guys (aka bucketheads)...

I just got a hair cut and my 8 1/8 cap from Ireland is giving me a headache. There is not much you can do short of being lucky and finding something or having something made. Hats are my buisness and I have not found a dress hat yet that really fits me. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

    Present from a customer . . .

We barley have enough room for the stuff that we already have. If we had enough room it would be cool to start a little mini museum/educational corner though. Maybe one day. Jeremy

    Present from a customer . . .

Yeah I havent decided what to do with it yet. Trading would be cool if someone had an extra 8 1/8 laying around. We will see.

    Present from a customer . . .

A nice lady whos father was one of our customers here came in yesterday and brought me one of his hats (he recently passed). It doesn't fit me but she said I could have it anyway, and who am I to say no. It is a very interesting Stetson Gun Club that I have never seen before. My gues is it...

What type of fedora would this be called.

Its a bailey hat with a borsalino label in it i believe. The pin hiding by the feather is the same one that they used. It would the equivalent to a bailey gentry. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

Can you jack a Knox? (Hat Needs Stretching Please Advise)

If you have a good source of steam it will help the stretch. A steamer is obviously the best choice but if you don't have one the tea kettle would help some. When i stretch a hat I put steam directly on the hat where the brim meets the crown and rotate. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

    Detectives Still Wear Fedoras

Actually there are quite a few detectives that wear fedoras here in the windy city. I don't know how often they wear them but I sold a few deerstalkers to some detectives over the years too. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

Biltmore makes a milan homburg in a lot of colors that is pretty nice. There are also a few different versions of the Eldorado. There is the Shantung and there is a Milan but they are both restricted to Natural, Grey, and Black. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

You're in Good Company - Hat Sizes Of Famous Folks

We do wuite a bit of theatre and movie buisness here in Chicago and the trend for most actors is to have heads 7 1/2 and bigger. I know John Malkovitch is a 7 3/4 or so but thats the only one I can remember off hand. A lady who was costuming an Operah once told me that most of the greatest...

    Hat identification

Welcome bones. The hat in those pictures is a mountain hunter. The huntoon is a newer version of the nountain hunter but with more of a smooth finish felt. The biggest size you will find in either is a 7 3/4 which might fit with some stretching. The moutnain hunter however is no longer in...

    watch out for hatsupply.com

Joel I wasn't tryingto imply that you were wrong. Idon't knwo if it was taken that way but I don't think you are. I wouldn't have even waited as long as you have befre I stuck it to her. Waiting six weeks or more to refund someones return is unexcusable for any buisness. Jeremy Hats Plus Ltd.

    watch out for hatsupply.com

I had a guy in our store once that wanted to purchase 6 hats once. However, a lot of the customers that come in think that we run a discount store, and the prices on the hat are there for no reason. So anyway logn story short this guy would not stop hounding me for a discount and was being...

    Summer Hat

Good looking hat bud my brother wears one just like it in the summer. :offtopic: Biltmore at one time put a stretchy terry cloth sweat into some of their straws. I always thought that it would be very comfortable and would soak up some of that sweat. Alas once again they never fit me. :p...
