I love my Whitworth .375 H&H. I first saw them in the late 1980's and finally was able to purchase one in 2008. I have since taken elk and mule deer with it. It is my favorite although it only gets shot occasionally, but it does attract a lot of attention when I pull the trigger.

    Show us your Guns!

One long very wet night during Desert Storm, we were told by our platoon sergeant, "You are Marines, evil little green amphibious demons from the deepest darkest pits of He!!, kicked out by Satan himself because you scared him. Its a little water, it is your friend. QUIT YOUR BITC4ING!" Of...

    Show us your Guns!

My Walther PPK was a beautifully made, classic weapon but it ate the web of my hand every time I put rounds through it. With all the excellent pistols out there why lose a chunk of my anatomy with every shot. Survived the gunfight, died of gangrene from the slide bite!

Latest acquisition, a 1902 Philippine Constabulary revolver via estate sale. it is the Colt Model 1878 Double Action revolver that was adopted specifically to fight the Moro tribesmen in the Philippines. Living in North Alabama we are able to visit Jack Daniels and George Dickel regularly. It is something most who visit us want to do. A few weeks ago we toured (5) different distilleries of varying sizes in Tennessee with a group of friends. The largest was Jack Daniels. If you ever have the...

Me wants bad. Beautiful weapon. One of my favorite pictures of Texas Rangers has one of them holding a rifle just like this. I recently purchased a Colt 1878 Double Action Revolver .45 Long Colt. It is one of the 1902 Philippine Constabulary revolvers. Sometime called an Alaskan they were...

Looks like a great time. Congratulations on the 5x6. Elk is the best meat there is and any time you harvest a bull is cause for celebration. Well done. Where in Colorado? I hunted outside of Basalt for years. Not going to get out to Elk country this year due to a recent career move but...

Adventure! Fedora Lounge Folks in Action!

I was fortunate enough to hunt 31B in Arizona just outside of Flagstaff. Saw elk every day, I got my bull and had a great hunt. We camped in the tent and "roughed it". Best part of it was a 20 minute back and forth bugling contest with a bull just after dark. He kept coming down the mountain...
