    I have both a Highwayman and a '30's Halfbelt in a size 40 with no modifications. The Highwayman measures 25.5" and the Halfbelt measures 25". I'm 5'11" (180cm) Hope this helps John

    I too have a DeVold sweater - this one From here http://www.norwegianstore.com/index.html It's good quality and well made although it did go 'bobbly' (only after a lot of wear and hard use) but this thread inspired me to revive it. I dug it out and 'shaved' the fuzz and 'bobbles' off...
