Anyone have info in regards to dating Dobbs by size tag? I recently bought a gorgeous Dobbs forty that has a brown oval shape size tag. I don't have pictures to post yet, but it is very light gray with guild edge, 2 1/2" brim, two different $40 price tags inside the band. Sold by Gus S May... -

Brass Buttons?
This blazer is made of material one would not normally expect to find for an entire suit, but the buttons do not stand out in any way. Perhaps I will look for buttons that will differentiate it a bit. Thanks to all for sharing your opinions! -
Need help matching Fedora and shoes to suit
I would wear the linen-cream and match them to similar color shoes. A light colored panama would also look very sharp. -

I bought a great 1947 navy blue, double breasted blazer with wide peaked lapels, but it has regular type buttons. Please tell me what you think; should I replace them with brass buttons? I like the way it looks with the original buttons, but since I am wearing it as a blazer, would brass... -
