    BT, On hats with a double bow the front of the bow is a single and the back of the bow is doubled and flared up. Thus, the bow flares to the back. On the hat in question the bow doubles and flares to the front. That's why I think the hat is being displayed with the back of the brim...

    Bow on the right side? My Borsa that I bought 5 years ago in Milan looks like this one only it's in charcoal. If you look close you'll notice that the bow flairs to the front of the hat. If we could see the inside I believe that we'd see that actually the "front" of this hat in this pic...

    Old Hat needs New Life

    Novelty hats Over 20 years ago when I first became aware of fur felt hats a salesman at a hat store told me that wool felt hats are "novelty" hats. They aren't designed for a long life. I've thought of them that way ever since. Mike
