:eeek:
Oh man ... now I'm really bummed out!!
I've been planning to get a custom "Cagney" (with Powell brim dimensions) from Matt, and had to postpone my order until December. Now?????
Wearing the Powell in 2 countries @ once!!
Thought I'd share a photo taken earlier today (09/05) after a friends casual afternoon wedding at the Peace Arch State Park in Blaine Washington. I'm standing with one foot in Canada (to your viewing left) & the other in the USA (to your right).

Thanks! There were a couple "false starts," but those were production issues (fur felts not up to Matt's standards for instance), so I had a little bit of a wait *but* it was worth it in the end. :D
It'd probably be better to ask Matt what the current wait time is.
My Uncle's early 50's H-D cap:
Well, I've got booku homework to get done for tomorrow, so I'll look through my files in the next day or two for the "authentic" repro Brando cap that I saved about 5 or 6 years ago (& *maybe* I'll locate the manufactures name with them too).

I checked my favorites and found the one for Cyclemo's Vintage Motorclothes, unfortunately they don't seem to have much in the way of true vintage items (clothing /hats) anymore. Instead they are selling t-shirts etc with "vintage" prints. I haven't checked them out in over a year. I can't...

File this one under "1st Timers":
So over the years I've gotten many comments about the various hats I wear (mostly positive), but never one like this.
While I was out & about sporting my new "Powell," my wife & I stopped by the grocery store. As we entered an older woman passing by me said...
Thanks Matt! :)
& thank you for making such a nice fedora!
Thanks! :D
I like the look of the ones with the brown ribbon, but since I mainly wear black's & charcoal grey I felt it made sense to get it done up in black. I was a homebody today, so I can't wait to step out in public with it on!
My new Powell / 1st wearing...
hmmm....the mailman dropped off a package on my front porch today. I wonder what it could be?
Its from Matt Deckard Apparel. Could it be?!....
Inside I find....YES! My new Powell!!
The Powell looks right at home alongside my mid-to-late 40's...
