Hi all, yesterday I received a Bailey lite felt "Jamison" hat. I love it already, but the box was squashed and the brim was a bit crooked on one side as a result. I steamed it a bit (i use a egg boiler for that, works perfectly, it has one of those little steam escape holes) and tried to reshape...

    Hat trends across the world.

Scratching my head... why not more people wear a hat? I am from the Netherlands, but live in Hong Kong since 10 years or so. I always wonder why not more men / women wear a hat here, or any other place for that matter? In Hong Kong there is a lot of intense sunshine, but people don't wear...

    Hat articles and photos...

Nice article in Dutch about men wearing hats. I stumbled upon this nice article, it gives some nice insights about men who choose to wear a hat. Funny group photo's too. http://www.francienvanzetten.nl/pdf/luxity_hoeden.pdf

Wearing trilbies etc. too far back on the head?

Hi all, I don't like seeing guys wearing trilbies and other hats (too) far back on the hat. Yet, in most professionally shot model shoots of guys wearing these hats, it seems to be the norm. Or pseudo fashionable? ...

I took the plunge and ordered the hat. I'll try to snap some pics after I received it, for those who might be interested and post them here.

Nice hat. But the problem is that most if not all sellers (of these genuine vintage hats) don't ship outside the US, furthermore IF they do, they charge unnecessary high shipping fees and most of the time the hats are too small for me. (7 5/8) :(

Bailey Jamison - a good bet? Hi all, After my good experience with my Bailey Willis (wide brimmed pork pie), I would like to get another Bailey. This time perhaps the Bailey Jamison. (brown) I think is a smart looking hat. Has anyone any experience/thoughts regarding this hat? I noticed that...

"Do it yourself" inner lining? Anyone has experience?

Hi all, I have a (cheap) trilby laying around, and I actually really like the quality and look of it. However, I want to "upgrade" it, just for fun and for the looks of it. Therefore I am planning to obtain a ribbon (black, or grey) and attach it to the hat and to give it a inner lining. I...

Baily Willis Thanks. Yes indeed, I think its a discontinued model, as its almost impossible to find some info regarding it. The only other picture I found is here. As you can see its a diamond crown, which I like a bit more than the typical pork pie crown...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Ordered yesterday my first pork pie... its a Bailey. I thought it was a quite good deal, especially with the shipping which was affordable. (I live outside of the US, and they don't sell any hats here (H.K.) except too small, mass produced Trilby hats) Some of the shipping fees on eBay are...
