That's a good answer Joan! The people I usually give a card to are usually other 'vintage' people so they get it (I think). I did have to be sure to stress to the printer that the first two letters are meant to be in caps so they wouldn't think it was a typo. I like how it looks.- Decobelle

Gaa! Nothing like short notice. You could do something like the Derby poster girl's hat; it's a b&w polka dot dress with straw hat trimmed with black and red flowers. I gather also though that many women wore a lot of black in the Depression years because they had to for economy. I don't know about all transparent raincoats, but a U.S. newspaper reported that Wallis Simpson was seen wearing a "glass" coat; Wallis later wrote to her aunt about what a silly story it was, and that the coat was, in fact, made of cellophane. This was c. 1935.- Decobelle
