    Indy IV (beware... spoiler pics)

Thanks for the link. I think this movie will be one of the biggest high points of this month for me. :) By the way, all of what I said earlier about the effects... I can get a much better feel of with these longer cuts. Does not look fake or CGI to me, but still holds that "campy" flavour of...

    MEN of the LOUNGE

A couple last ones... Added blur and noise to give it a "found family picture" feel. :D And another of me last night at a concert with my friends. Not the best or very vintage, but I'm smiling at least! I had a hell of a time. -Jovan

Comments You Get When You Dress Vintage

And that's why I envy you women, you can find vintage inspired or just classic fashions so much easier than us men. High rise jeans are coming back in style for your sex... WHY NOT US?! :(

    What are you wearing today??

I have that exact same tie (even the colour)! Great minds think alike, friend.

Comments You Get When You Dress Vintage

It all comes down to what you're comfortable with. I've seen many women who look smart in modern clothing and many here who look smart in vintage or inspired by clothing. While your sister looks fine, I'm not seeing a lot of originality in the way she dresses or does her hair. I see people who...

    National Day of Prayer?

MK, the real issue here is that I'm out $40! I was so looking forward to that dinner date, too. :eusa_doh: (Sorry, I'm done now. -_-)

Comments You Get When You Dress Vintage

They are correct. :) I don't agree with my uncle's political beliefs (and neither does my mother or his sister) but we at least respect his opinions and decisions. They should learn that such a mindset goes well for other things. What I was thinking about were the women in skirt/wide leg suits...

Land of the LOST as a movie

His best performance yet was in Winter Passing. He traded in his usual overacting, galumphing demeanour for subtle comedy as a dorky musician. I wish he'd do that sort of performance more, but I guess it isn't marketable... The article said this would be a comedy. A missed opportunity here...

    Deckard & Newcastle

The website is a bit finicky if I revisit some pages, not fully loading them again. I found that just clicking and holding for a bit helps. The site design is otherwise quite nice. :)

Veronica Lake -The Woman Who Smiled Little

Well, it's not like I'll consciously try and hide a smile when someone's told a joke or I've seen someone in God-knows-how-long. But when the camera's on me... I'm much more restrained in my smiles. Especially when I'm taking pictures alone like lyburnum said.

Land of the LOST as a movie

And that's exactly what I point out to the opponents of the Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition, Star Trek: Remastered, or anything else that "ruins childhood memories." :) Really though, wasn't the 1991 series great, too? Maybe I'm biased because I grew up with it. [huh]

    National Day of Prayer?

Although Charles said it in a bit of a drastic way that opened himself to kneejerk reactions, I tend to agree with both him and Dixon on the issue.
