Snoopy's even high on my playlist rotation, thanks to the Royal Guardsmen. (I really love this song!)

"Whaddaya mean, Beethoven ain't so great?!
He never had his picture on a bubblegum card, did he?"
All I know is I've learned a lot from Peanuts...starting at a young age who Tolstoy was because of watching Charlie lugging around "War and Peace" over his Christmas vacation to knowing that "pantophobia" is a real phobia (and helped me lead a trivia team I was on to victory).
I think that's the reason why the original Looney Tunes series isn't show much on television anymore...it was too violent. I remember when they took it off the Saturday morning line up and that was the excuses being thrown around even then. Instead, they replaced it with a washed out and...
The more people I talk to about George's who have eaten there recently, I'm inclined to stay away. I think the cleanliness and care of how the food is prepared has gone down hill in the last several years. My chef husband is horrified by what he hears as well as he always enjoyed visiting...
Yay! Can't wait to see what you chose, Kamikat!
I gave the Smashbox primer a try today and I loooove how it makes my makeup feel like velvet. As long as it doesn't do any funky things to my skin, I think I found a new product to add to my beauty routine.
^^It's eyeshadow. There was another one in the box, a smokey black color but since I don't the whole bedroom eyes look, I passed. The one in the picture is more of a pale blue. I'm crossing my fingers it won't be too pearly or glittery!
The box is now on it's way to Kamikat!
Here's a picture of my choices. My five year old liked the hair bows, cosmetic bag, and a glitter lip gloss so she claimed those. ;)
I'm not sure who put the Smashbox primer in there, but I'm unfamiliar with using primers even though I've been interested at giving it a try. Do I put that...
Eh, it doesn't surprise me one bit. I find our main and branch post offices are not very trusthworthy. I can tell you story after horror story of us not receiving mail, mail not arriving at it's destination when we send items and things being returned to us opened and rifled through. I take...
The box came in on Saturday! I think this round will be a bust for me based on my first glance through. I will make a few choices and toss in what I can in the next couple of days. I have to run to the post office today and get a new box; I think the other one has about had it, especially...
Just wanted to pop in and say I haven't seen the box yet but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. MissNathalie sent it last Sat. I think? Maybe today or tomorrow?
We took the family out for an outing at the zoo this weekend and we saw Mallo Cups for sale in the gift shop and it made me think of this thread. They still put the cards inside, however, you no longer get a box of the candy when you reach 500 points, you're supposed to send away for a catalog...
^^Oh the hook and eye at the ends sounds doable to hold it together until I find a fur clip that fits my budget. I will have to give it a try. I should have initially stated though that my collar is long, more for v-necks so I am concerned about it flapping in my lunch plate and shifting...
If your face is naturally oily, using lemon juice might only make it more oily as it's meant to "dry" out the skin and bleach dark spots. I know Lolly and a couple other ladies here suggested baking soda as a facial scrub, but I would approach that with caution. I tried it and it caused my...
It was and is making it's way there again. We were at the mall this past weekend and one of the window displays in teeny bopper stores suddenly had me flashing back to the late 80s/early 90s LA Gear adverts I remember seeing everywhere.
Bumpity bump. Any ladies with fur collars care to clue me in how they attach them to their sweaters and coats? My husband bought me a beautiful rabbit fur collar and I can tell that at one time, there may have been hooks or something attached but they are long gone. The collar would look...
I'm not sure about that. I made a call from the Czech Republic to my husband in 2003 on our anniversary and it was $50+ alone for the first five minutes. We didn't stay on the phone long, but I can't imagine that if we had an hour long conversation that it would have been under $163.00 for the...
^^This post made me laugh. Now I'm envisioning a scene like "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation:" Mom, this box is meowing. That would be Aunt Bethany's cat...;)
