Hello (bonjour),
I'am 38 chest and all my ELC jackets are size 40 (G1 & A2).
For the G1 , i took a size 40 and it's perfect, in the COCKPIT brand, i took a size 38 in their current issue G1.

Hello Gents,
Do anybody tried to watch the new BR 2015-2016 catalogue, i have a "strange" message like this :
"get setting book json data error"
Do my computer settings are wrong or is it a problem from BR ?

Hello,
i'am 38 chest and my Schott 141 Cafe Racer 38 is perfect to me (21 ptp), i wear it with a shirt + tshirt + merino wool sweater eventually (and i have the zip out lining).

Hello, i agree the size 40 i tried was perfect in length (back and sleeve) but there was a guy who tried the same jacket (with longer arms) and it was on the short side to him.
You could contact Rob at ELC (or Charles at HPA ?), both will give you the measurements.

Good choice GregO, i'am a big fan of Eastman jackets and this Californian is very appealling !

Hello,
I had the chance to try on the Californian at the T-BIRD shop here in Paris.
The hide is the same Warhorse hide used on some A2.
Very nice jacket, well made and tailored.
I'am a size 40 in ELC A2 design and the size 40 i tried was perfect.
My personnel choice would go to the Americn...
Hello,
Just my 2 cts, i have a estimated 1958 peacoat tagged in size 38. The P2P is exactly 20,86' (53 cm). My chest size is 38 and i have plenty of room to put a tee-shirt+shirt+sweater. The armholes are really wide enough to accomodate every kind of stuff (jumper or blazer). And with all that...
Hello Carrie,
I've seen the new Aero page and it appears that the sizing have change ? On some models, you advice to size down or on the former Aero page, it was true to size. (i choose the Sunburst for example). Could you tell us please ?

Hello, late to the party but we have a shop here in Paris which have a partnership with VANSON USA to make a Cafe Racer. They don't sell by Internet but have a Facebook page where you can see their products = T-BIRD

Hello,
Just found on freebay a Monarch 7823 AER with damaged label.
Do you know someone who could do the job ?
(i'm not sure Aero, ELC or GW would do, because of their usual busy business ?)

Hello,
Nice jacket, if it is the same lining as the B 10, it must be warm.
Be careful to the sizing of PK goods , i have a PT SWEATER in size S and it fit like a M, idem for the B 10, an XS sizing would be useful...
However, these are good products, well made and cheaper than others with this...
Hello,
Had a 50's HB made by AERO in Seal Jerky Brown HH, it was a mid weight hide, easy to wear right from the start, very nice undertones of brown to dark brown, irregular grain and that unforgettable smell !!!
Now i'am waiting for a Pioneer in their Battered Brown Steerhide...

Hello,
We have here in Paris a dealer which selling Alpha (DOURSOUX), i bought them 3 years ago an N3B in Sage Green, very warm and practical but the shell was too shiny so i sold it for a 1986 GREENBRIER issue N3B (80% Cotton / 20 % Nylon), as warm as the Alpha. I took the same size (M) : 38...
Thanks, Xenophon, i see there's a lot of people who had the same problem. Even with the numbers, it's hard to figure out how the jacket will fit and i had been tempt to size up...
Some pics with the jacket on with the numbers of the person would help, or the sending of a test jacket as...
Thanks Pauleway and Winterland1, i think i will go for a 30's HB, i'am quite slim with no belly (my chest size is 38-38,5 and my waist size is 35,5).
I will see that with Aero next week...
Cheers,
F68
Thanks Wdw, there are lessons quite hard to learn.
Anyone have compared on this forum the fit of the 50 and 30's HB, i searched but such a think hasn't been done (not yet ?).
Cheers,
F68
