Do post a review. Is it a russet? I'd like to see a review of the russet. Chris sent me a few pics (attached) and I think it's got some nice varied character but I am usually more a seal brown man myself. I'm tempted though. Just as a point to note re. sizing. I lost about 7 lbs so far since the photo and it now basically fits although I'm still nearer a 48 chest. No room for layering but wearable so check your measurements if you want a particular fit. As I'm planning to lose another 28 lbs at least whilst training...- tomsk

No no no! '011' is NOT correct, where did you get that from? Our country code in the UK (in full) is 0044 followed by 1896 etc. I never really understand why people write '+44' or just '44'. If you want to get through to Aero dial 0044 1896 755353. Is the 011 something to do with getting an...- tomsk

Why is horsehide better than steerhide?
In my experience it ain't that simple. You can get some SERIOUSLY hefty steerhide. I had an Aero steer A-2 circa 1999 and it was sooooo thick I couldn't move. I've also had thin, lightweight horsehide (eastman warhorse). Obviously this can be reversed also, my point being heft of leather is not...- tomsk

Why is horsehide better than steerhide?
I would think Steer is cheaper because it's easier to get, ie, there's more of it. You can find tough thick steerhide just as you can find thin, flimsy horsehide. However it may be that weight for weight horsehide is stronger. Choosing a horsehide option won't necessarily get you a stronger...- tomsk

Do all FQHH Jackets Creak/Squeak
I am absolutely 100% certain that it depends on the finish. If the leather on the arm ,for example, doesn't slide smoothly across the surface of the body then it will squeak - same with the seams etc. The heels on my leather-soled shoes squeak a bit where the midsole moves slightly against the...- tomsk

Just received my ELC Werber
Estevan, I wasn't really recommending bathing the wool cuffs but being that it's a jacket and sometimes it rains, they do get wet and this seems to irradicate tunnelling as bit. I've never ever had a cuff or waistband shrink. If you soaked them and then heat-dried them they would but that's why...- tomsk
