That's always good! I've thought of trying High and Tight or Goodfellas, both in the Portland area. I know Goodfellas is also a cigar shop (for those who partake).
Here is an example:
Notice that really nice wave? My hair without product has lots of waves just like that, but wetting and adding product just flattens it all and it kills the look I'm going for.
I have quite wavy hair, but my issue is when I apply product (whether it be Brylcreem, Groom and Clean, or whatever other product) and comb it, it just looks slick and flat. Is there a trick to keep the waves that I have naturally with the product? Should I apply product to somewhat dryer hair?
So essentially as I thought, Groom and Clean is less shine but more hold. I have both but I don't want to wash out my hair so much in one week. Thanks for the help guys :)
They still make it and Vitalis. I have some Vitalis but haven't used it lately. It seems to add shine, but barely any hold (not a huge issue for me). It's like $7 a bottle and I'm not completely sure it's worth it. The scent is kinda weird, but I like it for what it is. I've heard Family Dollar...
I was wondering how you thought they held up for shine as I'm looking for the super wet, shiny look. I've searched around but found not much on Groom and Clean for example. I definitely don't want to use hard holding pomades, I like light hold like these two.
Thanks! I wish these companies would follow a standard. I can get a GREAT deal on a pair for $22 but ONLY in size 8. Loafers are huge issues with me...some I fit in 7s, some 8s, some 7.5s.
Hey there, I was wondering if any of you could lend me a hand on Weejuns. I usual shoe size is 8D and I want to get some Weejuns. I won't be able to get to a store so I have to take a bit of a chance...would you say they're true to size? Or should I size down?
A local hat shop has a sale going on and they are selling Tino's for $45. I know many do not like wool, but I was hoping to get the opinion of others here on if this is a decent hat or not :)
Hey everyone! New guy here. Just wanted to ask a basic first question...I would like to get into fedoras and such (I have lightweight ones, but now that it is cold out, need something warm!), but am just not sure about crushable hats. Is this something that changes the quality of the hat itself...
