G1 'Action back' has come loose/ unfolded

I've also had Byson do work for me; repairs to a couple of Irvins and a refurb of an Edmund Church M422a (New cuffs, action back elastic and a new liner). Fantastic work in every respect, and great folk to visit if you're in the area.

    Do you wear Original Wwii?

I think it very much depends on the robustness of the garment. I often wear M422a jackets, but not for anything more strenuous than walking to work. I think B3s have a reputation for being quite fragile compared to WW2 Irvins

    My G-1 Lineup (Others Invited)

Does anyone have any tips for removing (or reducing!) very strong BO from a G1? I've recently bought a fantastic condition 1950s Foster, but the armpits smell pretty bad :( I've tried leaving it in the sun to see if UV will help. Any advice gratefully received!

ALL ORIGINAL Irvin RAF type Jackets - Loving that Wolf in sheeps' clothing!

Fantastic jacket Andrew. Should you ever wish to sell it....:) I have recently acquired a pair of trousers (sadly although only lightly worn they had been poorly stored so all the metalwork had corroded very badly). They have an IAC label in them, with a date stamp 17th Mar 1940. Can anyone...

ALL ORIGINAL Irvin RAF type Jackets - Loving that Wolf in sheeps' clothing!

Irvin advice... Hi All, I've recently bought a multi-panel Irvin (as a Christmas present to myself!); it's in pretty good condition, but will need a few little jobs doing; a new sleeve zip slider and a bit of seam tape sewing (with maybe a collar retrim too). I was going to try the sewing...
