Grey Adam Porkpie or Fedora, 7 3/8 Sell or Trade

Churchill stingy for sale or (hopefully) trade
It's a grey Churchill Ltd. 7 1/2. I like the look and feel of the hat, but got it based on jumping at an eBay auction with super fuzzy pics and an inaccurate description (was trying to find a grey hat before a wedding). A first for me ...
I just came out of the first antique shop I've found that had a hat selection! They had a couple of beat up Borsalinos, a Dobbs straw, an unknown furry hat, a Stetson, and a lot of women's hats. Nothing my size (probably a good thing right now) but the thrill of the find was incredible! -
Metal in Akubra sweat
Anyone have experience ripping these out? Is there a negative consequence I'm not foreseeing? My Fed was seriously crumpled and now it sits very oddly against my head due to ripples caused by that bent up piece of metal. Can I just yank it? -

Wool/Fur Blend
I guess I have beed under the mistaken assumption that wool and fur don't mix in hats ... but my dad has a Bailey that very clearly says "80% Wool 20% Fur Felt" (or some such mixture). Is there any difference on how to care for something like this? I steamed and reshaped it a bit before... -
