This is Oliver's wife - as some of you might know, he passed away Nov 23, 2017. I am now in the process of selling his hatting tools. I have had many listed on eBay but also wanted to let this group know in case there is anything someone is interested in. Please email me at seojogden2@aol.com...
This is Oliver's wife, Sharon - I just wanted the group to know that he passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 23. Although he had been very ill with his emphysema, it still came as a shock. http://www.snyderfuneralhome.com/obituary/oliver-j-ogden/

It seems to me that this thread along with the thread Photos of hatter's tool's has gone dead.Lets try to pump some fresh blood into both of them. thanks
thank you RJR for your input . I realy think the thread Photos of hatter's tool's is dead from a lack of interest. Let me ask another question. How maney conformater's do you think are in the USA ? Thanks for your response
this thread seems to have died.Lets try to pump new life into it again, by starting with a new question. What is your favorite hatter's tool in your collection? and also along the same line, What do you feel is your most vaulable hatter's tool you have ?. lets get this thread up and running...
All three of the hatters here in Lancaster county pa still use the Cummings inital machines. 1] Irishtown hatters (amish) 2) Flying cloud hats (amish) and myself 3) Ogden hatters. They have the regular Cummings, and I use the Cummings jr. All are over 100 years old and still working fine.
John Galt - re: your Post 1464 - You posted photos of finishing powders. Here are my finishing powders. The jars are full plus the small cans. They came from National Hatters Supply - Brooklyn, NY.
