I get terrible earaches if I don't stop the wind entering in my ears. If thats your problem as well I would encourage you to try Radians Custom Molded Earplugs, they are pretty inexpensive. However, I too love my 180's and the 180's fold up almost flat.
Hi again everyone. I am thinking of buying a Stetson Leather Ivy cap from The Village Hat shop or another online retailer. I have seen ads here for Village Hat Shop and I am wondering if they are actually a supporter and what reputation they have? I'd like to purchase from a FL supporter if...
Okay I see. I was having trouble shaping the brim till I took it outside during a welcome rain. A few raindrops and the high humidity went a long way to shaping that brim the way I wanted it.
You know gentlemen, I thank God every morning for making me so pretty! And now He has blessed me with this GREAT hat! I really want to thank you men, as experienced members of this forum you are really inspiring confidence in this young'un. Thanks!
I think I dig this hat! Thanks for your input everyone. And if I understand the terminology and nomenclature correctly; this is a size 7 1/8 Stetson 4x Open Road in Bullet with a Cattleman crown and a rolled brim. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks again.
Excellent! I will dig around more but if I reshape the crown I will probably have it done professionally. I like the hat and don't want to screw it up.
Not soon, but I may at some point. I'll just wear it like this for awhile and see how I like it.
edit:
Changing the crease is re-blocking, correct? That needs to be done professionally right?
I'm hoping someone can help me with this question: I have a Stetson Open Road with the Western crown but I really dislike the standard OR brim shape so I have rolled the brim up in back and down in front. What is the common thought on this combination?
