New Hickory colored 25X Gladhatter
I couln't agree more with android and SHARPETOYS. The X's mean absolutely nothing in a new hat and you still have to be careful with older hats. It's like buying stereo equipment based on the specs instead of what it sounds like, ridiculous. Cheers, Jeff -

Finally got me first fedora
I second Mr. Powers, after Borsalino was sold in the early 80's and moved the factory, I believe they went way downhill. And they licensed some hats for manufacture in the US which are to be avoided at all costs. I also would try to go older than 20 years though, if you can find what you need... -

How credible is Biltmore?
Well they don't know geography, probably not great for a Montecristi either. Their upper end felts, Rosellini and the Grand Beaver are supposed to be good hats. Regards, Jeff -
