Letting go of my Aero Teamster in brown, very heavy FQHH with tan alpaca lining. One of the heaviest pieces of CXL horse or steer that I've seen. Usual signs of normal light wear, leather is broken in and soft once warmed up a bit. Many thanks to jacketjunkie for letting me adopt it these past...
Size 42 in Russet Vicenza horsehide, with custom wool tartan lining and brown corduroy cuff/collar linings. Basically new with the tags still on, haven't worn it anywhere aside from at home confirming fit. Style is not for me, so up it goes.
Approximate measurements in inches:
22.5" pit-to-pit...
Bought this when I was still moving downwards in pants size, but now I'm a size 34 and this isn't getting worn. It has maybe a month worth of occasional wear on it, matches my black chromexcel Aero/boots well...and it also smells great. Will ship in original cloth bag and Rancourt box...
I've had this in the closet for several years and haven't worn it overly much because the style isn't quite me, even though the fit is good and the condition/lack of repairs even more so. I figured this might be the place to learn a bit more about it.
I already suspect that it's post-WWII...
I'm hoping FL might be able to help me ID my latest Aero snag off 'that auction site.' I purchased it because the price, measurements, and style were all spot-on...but I'm at a loss for which jacket model it actually is.
The closest I see in the Aero Civilian catalog is the Veste de Rallye...
