    Thanks! And I was mistaken, they are in fact Indy 403s, not 405s. Color is dark brown chromexcel, size 12D. Purchased from The Alden Shop San Francisco. I just found the original order confirmation in my email.

    Just happened to be wearing my Alden 405 brown chromexcel boots while stumbling across this thread. I added some el cheapo insoles and they are comfortable! Almost like sneakers. Almost 2 years old and still trying to get them looking beat up. Using brown leather laces for now.

    Sure. I had a few that my wife took, but they didn't come out very well so I deleted them. The coat is so black, it's hard for the camera not to just see a giant black blob in indoor lighting. None of the detail shows up. I'll get some better pics soon when we can be outside. I'm 6'6"...
