I'm planning to wear this at the weekend. Normally wouldn't wear somethi9ng so bright but the quality is amazing, the image doesn't do justice to the richness of the silk.
SPECTRE..4/10 ( and that is generous).
Overly long, poorly paced and with no sense of threat to Bond, the film is derailed by a "plot twist" of the nature of the relationship between Bond and Blofeld that is so moronic, it is impossible for the film to recover.
Bellucci is barely in the movie...
I've had a double breasted very dark brown leather reefer jacket that I use as a winter coat for years. It is very heavy leather, was second hand when I bought it, and I've had several compliments over the years. Now that it looks "worn" it looks better IMO
If I don't like the clothing ON ME I won't buy it. I am aware that its not a look that suits everybody, and reality might be less flattering than my mental image.
The other look that I really like is this, but its similar to the double breasted leather reefer jacket I have now- although mine doesn't have a belt.
It's entirely possible that I'll try on a leather trench, hate the look and lost interest. It's just an idea that I have now.
Very helpful comments all, thank you. I'm afraid that this leather trenchcoat thing is an itch that won't go away until I scratch it..at least to the extent of trying one on.
Incidentally my searches for such a garment have revealed that several "designer names" ( a phrase that I abhor) have...
I have finally decided that I want a leather trenchcoat, after seeing Ian carmichael wear one as Lord Peter Wimsey. Does anyone know of a good supplier= ideally UK based?
If it is of any corroborative value I loved it, and saw it again this morning with 6 uncle fans, 5 of whom loved it. The audience in general seemed to respond well.
