Gibson & Barnes list all their jackets as custom order now. Does this mean that they no longer have stock jackets and only build to order?- desertdog

Hides, Rain, and Shrinkage
Schotts naked leather will shrink big time. My Schott 125 size 48 was ruined from getting wet. It lost 1" to 1 1/2" off sleeve and body length and now fits like a size 44. The sleeve liner hangs out of the sleeves it shrunk so much. In my opinion naked cowhide is worthless as a motorcycle...- desertdog

Aero Bootlegger for riding?
Great looking jackets. Thanks for the replies and pictures. I didn't think the Bootlegger was a good riding jacket and these posts confirmed that. As much as I like this jacket it is simply not cut as a serious motorcycle jacket. For me, any jacket that is straight cut at the bottom is not...- desertdog

Would an Aero Bootlegger make a good riding jacket? Do the sleeves zip? Is the back longer than the front to cover the lower back when riding?
