Stetson Brown Heather Mix 3X Fedora Size 7 1/4

This very attractive Stetson fedora was made between 1957-1960(ish). It is 3X beaver felt in brown heather mix. This hat appears to have never been worn. While the photos give the impression of a derby hat, the crown is actually soft and needing to be formed. There is some wear around the band...

Help needed to identify my newly acquired Stetson Fedora!

Late night research is not my friend :( This is indeed what I read and still didn't realize that my conclusions contradicted what I had read. It looks great any number of ways as the urge to shape and reshape has taken over!

Help needed to identify my newly acquired Stetson Fedora!

Thank you for the insight. I will write 100 times, I will not stay up ALL night long looking for really cool hat info! With much clearer eyes, it is indeed manilla card stock and no gold is on the size tag.

Help needed to identify my newly acquired Stetson Fedora!

soft and malleable. It doesn't have the firmness needed for a bowler. Any idea if a hatband is missing or if Stetsons did not always come with one?

Help needed to identify my newly acquired Stetson Fedora!

I came across this Stetson 3X beaver trilby recently and couldn't resist buying it! I just love staring at it. Most of my information to this point has been obtained by the wonderful information posted by Warner Todd Huston here...

    The Resistol Roundup

Unfortunately, Dave has moved on. No one there was able to help me directly, but I was given a phone number for the customer service manager in hopes she may be able to assist. Will update again if info is unearthed!

    The Resistol Roundup

I want to wear it! Just bought it and it is too big. So now it's up for sale. However, I started this fact chase and it won't end until someone can tell me about this hat. It would be a shame for it to belong to me or anyone else without a history. That's what makes vintage hats so special, they...

    The Resistol Roundup

I have searched every available resource: Resistol, PCRA, NFR, Cavenders, Drysdales, Sheplers, and a Cowboy Collectible Enthusist shop, and can't get any information about my recently obtained Resistol 4X NFR 40th Anniversary Cowboy Hat. I haven't had any luck finding another one. Addition...

Resistol NFR 40th Anniversary (1998) Cowboy Hat 6X Beaver Never Worn Sz 7 1/8

Hard to believe anything from 1998 is vintage. What does that make me? This hat is never worn, brand new condition. Tags are still in the lining. This is a rare find. A current Resistol 6X in this style is $200-$225. With the pristine condition, rarity and National Finals Rodeo connection, I am...
