In March of last year, Art Fawcett of Vintage Silhouettes made me a beautiful, customized fedora. I have only worn it once. I even forgot that I had it and had been wearing my Akubra more often. So I have decided to sell it. PM me with any questions you may have. Thank you for looking...
I have an almost brand new Borsalino Bellagio that I purchased about a month ago and wore only three or four times. The hat is a beautiful charcoal grey fedora with a 2.5" snapped down brim and the crown is 5" at the sides and 4.75" or so in the front and back. Size: 7 3/8 or 59cm. I am selling...
This may have been covered in other posts but after doing a couple of searches I could not find what I was looking for. If I wanted to change a ribbon where can I purchase one online? I am interested in a 2" standard tie ribbon for a Stylemaster. Thanks.
This hat is just about perfect. I love the color and style, no pun intended. It fits perfectly too. I may get one of these in several other colors. The color is more of a deep tan rather than dark brown or chocolate - photos 3 & 4 most accurately depict the true color.
I won a vintage Stetson Sovereign on eBay recently and the hat is in excellent condition - appears unworn - but the brim is up all around - front, sides and back. I'd like to keep the front brim snap down but it keeps popping back up. Will I need to use steam to do that or are some hats just...
Does anyone know anything about a fedora made by Stetson called "The Sovereign"? It is a vintage model and I just picked one up on OFAS for $36.00 shipped. When I get it, I'll post some pics. Since it was so cheap, I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Specs:
2 1/2" brim
5" crown
grey w/black...
When browsing through the Stetson inventory, I noticed that they grade the quality of their fedoras, i.e., Imperial, Sovereign, etc. As a newbie, I do not know what these grades mean. Which one is considered the best to the lowest quality? Those names are a bit misleading because they all...
Does anyone own either a Stetson Windham? I love the sharp design of this hat.
Brim: 2 1/2" snap with bound edge
Crown: 4" in front and 4 3/4" sides
Fur felt Sovereign quality
Price: $140
I suppose Jimmy Pierce can make the same model for the same price! If anyone has this one or any...
I happen to love fedoras with a teardrop crease and I've been itching to buy one in a mid to light gray. There is another thread where one young member had Gus Miller make a custom style fedora that is very tempting. See this link:

Then I...
I would like to hear opinions about this model from those who own one. Akubra receives excellent reviews across the board on this forum for quality and price quotient, so I would imagine the Bogart is no exception. I am itching to order one in black. I wonder how the Akubra Bogart compares to...
I was browsing through the Club Obi-Wan forum and found a thread about the quality of Stetson hats. While a few responses do not make a consensus, I was disappointed by the negative views expressed about Stetson. What do lounge members think? I am new to this world but Stetson is a venerable...
I happen to like some of the styles of the official fur felt Indian Jones hats. They look like great hats for daily wear, but what is the quality of these hats? I wonder how they compare to the comparable styles made by Akubra. Thanks to everyone for this informative forum.
I've been doing lots of research and I love this hat, but it tends to run about $250 - $265 - more than I'd like to spend right now. I found two other online vendors who carry it, but are these vendors reputable? I want to be sure the Como they're selling is the real deal because they have the...
Does anyone where an Akubra as a dress hat? I like their styles, especially the Banjo Paterson, and Stylemaster. Would anyone wear the Banjo Paterson for dress, though? Love that Barramundi band!
Stetson Dexter or Borsalino Como - or both?
Hello Everyone! I am new to the forum and new to the world of hats. I never thought I looked very good in one so steered clear of anything except a winter cap. Well, I am 58 years old now and decided to bite the bullet once and for all. I live in...
