    I think it's rather simple in my experience, a typical 3oz HH jacket is around 5 lbs (4.5-5.5) like Aero, Schott. and the Suburban I have is 3.5-4oz which is 6.3lbs, the test I have is 7.4 lbs which he claim is 4oz +HH, and I especially asked him to use heavist HH to make j23, turns out 8.2 lbs...

    If it's beyond 7lbs, I think what you got is 4oz or plus. I suspect somehow he forgot to shave his original 4.5 HH to your spec, it's possible.

    I think it's a fair price, LW charge me almost same price for shortening sleeve and narrowing both sleeve opening.
