Yes, the goat definitely drapes nicely. It keeps the wind out but is light and flexible from the moment you put it on. It fulfills the whole low-fi sporting windbreaker thing that these jackets were originally used for much better than the horsehide we often see these jackets in.- AMan

How is teacore done? Can you do it at home?
So we all know that teacore leather is a brown hide that has been coated with a thin layer of black dye that will rub off over time, creating a pleasing patina.
