I know there is a classified section on the Fedora Lounge, but I find that anything for us ladies in there gets a bit lost within all the mens items, and it would be great to have a ladies only...
I have just listed some killer 1940s womens shoes in my etsy shop. They are all larger size, as unfortunately my feet have grown and they no longer fit (both strange and annoying!)

After reading Retro Makeup: Techniques for Applying the Vintage Look by Lauren Rennells, which is an amazing book by the way with gorgeous photos and great tips, I have become interested in the products they used back then.

Whilst looking through some old pictures of 1940s movie actresses I spotted this one of Veronica Lake, wearing this gorgeous swimsuit, exactly like the one on ebay a few day before! Its such a gorgeous swimsuit and obviously Veronica Lake thought so too...
Back last year I purchased 2 suits of a seller on ebay called ladyluckvintage, i have been trying to get in contact with her because the suits never arrived and she said that they had arrived back with her after Royal mail had posted them back to her and that she was going to post them out...

I have a suit, more of a summer light weight suit, it is grey with green felt and green and purple embroidered wool (i think??) flowers, but the only thing is it STINKS of sweat!! So i don't know, because of the felt and colours, to have it dry cleaned but i don't know if the smell will come out...
