Whether your jacket had USN stamped on the back of the collar or USN, USCG, USMC (rare) stamped on the windflap, the original jacket had the windflap. However, during WWII, it was blank (no stamp). The military didn't start stamping the windflap until after the war.- Roninja

Flying Tigers A2 Leather Jacket (Cooper/Willabee & Ward) - 38R
The blood chit is the second variation that was available from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s. The first variation was vertical and only had the ROC flag on it. I own the latter, which I bought from Quartermaster in 1997 for $50, including shipping. I wish they still made them. Haven't seen...- Roninja

An original is very hard to find. They occasionally turn up (usually in bad condition) for about $1000 and up. However, beware of fakes made by Mainland China. They're everywhere.- Roninja
