    I was after a pair for some time. I managed to get two. One in size 7 and one in size 8. Size 7 is a John White, size 8 is a Crockett & Jones. Both made in 1945 and in fantastic condition. C&J is going back to the factory for a full re build. Size 7 will be for sell soon.

    According to Eastman records the jacket was made in 1989 to a gent called R Jackson in Sunderland and is horse hide. The hand wormer pocket and inner pocket was added by the original owner at a later date. Amazing that they have a data base going back to the '80s

    Recently purchased this jacket. An early Eastman with a made up contract number and style? The last owner had it for 15 years and he purchased the jacket from an old gentleman. The inner pocket was probably added at a later time? There is something written on the lining but can't make it out...

    Under the military assistance deal with the US, Israel has to buy military equiepment from the US. I have an M65 jacket from 1973. Could be that the jacket is from a batch destined to the IAF?

    On a recent trip to the ME I purchased this MA-1 dated 1984 MIL-J-72299A DTD, made by Concord Introd Inc . Supplied to the IAF, size is XL but fits my 42"chest perfectly. The outer shell nylon is thick, is not exactly a cold weather jacket but is good for about +5C. I also have a similar model...
