B-2 repro recommendations?
Eastman's largest size for their B-2 cap reproduction is just slightly too small for me, and they don't do custom work. Has anyone had any experience with the other two makers of B-2s, flightjacket.com and Real McCoys? Your past experiences with how accurate they are and how well they're made... -

Help dating a old leather jacket
My guess would be 1950s. The vertical-zipper upper pockets and dual-pocket system on each side make this a dead ringer for a late 1950s Sears Fieldmaster I have and an early 1960s Sears Oakbrook (essentially identical to the Fieldmaster) and I wouldn't be surprised if successful designs were...- handworn

G1 2 Questions - advice appreciated
get an original If I were you, I wouldn't bother getting a repro, given the large number of original G1s on eBay, of all decades, conditions, and prices. Remember, they issued them right from WWII through 1978, and then began again in 1982. Goatskin is quite tough, so I wouldn't be too...- handworn

Thanks. I've considered them, and I know they have repro labels, though it occurs to me that they might only do replacements of these things, not repairs. I'll ask. M422a restoration
Just picked up an M422a in need of help. Champagne tastes, beer pocketbook. The mouton is stable, soft and decent looking except for the usual bald spot or two at the usual locations. The wine-colored lining is torn a good bit, but seems generally strong (i.e. not rotten or fragile)...- handworn
